This presentation will walk through how the Orchard Farm Early Learning Center implemented a formalized PLC at the Early Childhood level. Information related to identifying essential/supporting standards, unwrapping standards, developing common formative assessments, and implementing formalized data cycles will be discussed. Additionally, this presentation will focus on practical aspects such as developing a school-wide leadership team, implementing instructional rotations, and using a modified PLC workbook to track individual student growth. The presenters will also touch on utilizing a modified response to intervention approach as well as share data collected through a building-wide action research plan.
