Establish and Sustain a Safe and Orderly Environment for All Stakeholders


Engage all stakeholders in collaboratively developing and agreeing upon common expectations, rules, procedures, and routines that align with board policy and which include:

  1. Expectations and procedures to ensure safety and positive climate at school
  2. Expectations and procedures to ensure safety and positive climate to and from school
  3. Expectations and procedures to ensure safety at school sponsored activities
  4. Expectations and procedures for reinforcing desired behaviors
  5. Expectations and procedures for disciplinary response to problematic behavior

Provide all stakeholders training in teaching expectations, procedures, and routines; recognizing appropriate behavior, responding to inappropriate behavior, and effective classroom practices that proactively reduce inappropriate behavior, and that is required by law.

Establish and implement procedures to assess that expectations are implemented consistently and equally to all.
