Beverly currently develops and updates DCI and MTSS products and professional learning modules for MoEdu-SAIL. Her work involves researching current effective instructional practices and developing content, techniques, and tools for enhancing adult learning within the modules and products.
Bev received a BSE with an emphasis in K-8 education and a MSE in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Central Missouri. She has been a certified teacher in Illinois, Missouri, and Colorado and has over 30 years of combined experience as a classroom teacher, Title 1 interventionist, and instructional coach. Ms. Kohzadi was also involved in numerous collaborative partnerships with UCM during her teaching career. These include her role as a master teacher and presenter for the Missouri Elementary Mathematics Academy as well as her work modeling literacy practices for pre-service teacher programs.
Beverly began working at the Central Regional Professional Development Center at UCM in 201l as a School-Wide Positive Behavior consultant. She then continued her consulting work with the Missouri Implementation Model (MIM) and the MO Collaborative Work (CW) which then transitioned into the current District Continuous Improvement (DCI) and Missouri Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) which her content development work now focusses on.
Bev currently resides in Woodland Park, Colorado and in her spare time enjoys painting, camping, and hiking with her family….especially her granddaughter!
