Carla Williams

Dr. Carla Williams has been a part of the MoEdu Sail team since 2013 working in various capacities over that time. She has left few stones unturned with MoEdu Sail – management team, content development, facilitator and other assorted roles over the years. She has been fortunate enough to see the work develop from Collaborative Work, Missouri Model Districts, District Continuous Improvement and MTSS.

Carla received a BA with an emphasis in Elementary Education and French from Creighton University and a MSE, ED. Spec and a Ed.D from UMKC in Educational Administration. She has been a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and worked at the district, state and university level. Being in the classroom is her love. When not working with MoEdu Sail, she serves as an Associate Professor of Early Childhood and Elementary Education at the University of Central Missouri.

A mom of four, Carla and her husband live in Kansas City. She is passionate about food, travel, pro bono chauffeuring and Thanksgiving. She also enjoys all things Chiefs football, subjecting her family to exciting new recipes, and owns absurd amounts of nail polish, earrings and pink clothes.
