CLOSING AND FOLLOW UP

Now that you have a better understanding of School-Based Implementation Coaching, your next step is to use the SBIC Practice Profile to self-assess your current implementation. The SBIC Practice Profile is a rubric that aligns with the learning objectives of the SBIC Learning Package. For each essential function, the SBIC Practice Profile defines four levels of implementation from “exemplary” to “far from proficient,” and includes criteria that provide data or documentation for determining implementation levels. This is an important tool for self-monitoring your own implementation. It serves as a reminder of the implementation criteria and is also aligned with the fidelity checklists and the electronic Self-Assessment  Practice Profile (SAPP) tool. These sources provide data regarding your current status in your implementation efforts, possible next steps, and where you/your school/your district might benefit from further training or coaching.

NEXT STEPS

The Next Steps template is useful for planning both now or back in your building.
